I have been collecting Libertads since 2013, and they are the only coins I collect. I was initially intrigued by their low mintage and also there beautiful design, but I got bit by the bug and have continued to stack. It has taken me several years, but I have now completed all the gold proof sets. I also hold the high point standing for the 1 oz proof gold coins, the 1/4 oz , 1/10th oz and also the 1/20th oz in the NGC Registry. I still enjoy chasing the rare sets and PF70s and continue to meet alot of great people along the way.
This Site
I decided to start this site for two reasons. First, I wanted to be able to help others complete their collections. I personally found it frustrating at times to find just the right coin to make a set. Don't get me wrong, part of the fun of collecting, especially Libertads, is the hunt. But, there comes a point when you feel you've exhausted all the options. I have acquired quite a collection of "extras" that I would consider selling or trading. This lead to the second reason I decided to set up this site. I find the fees on eBay / Paypal to be ridiculous. I would much rather sell at a more reasonable price direct and not have to markup an item just to cover the fees.
